CC AND EC REDUCTION

The new standard UNE 23500: 2012, which deals with the suction circuit of pumping systems, establishes the need to install, among other elements and for each main pump, a straight or reducing tube ( eccentric reduction ) with a length greater than double the diameter calculated for the suction pipe. The top of the tube must be horizontal, and the angle of reduction must not be more than 20º.

The concentric reducers are all those that reduce connections to a larger diameter to the center, ie, which act as a funnel. These pieces have the peculiarity that by concentrating the flow towards the center, the working pressure is more stable and more balanced.

At CMC Fire Solutions we make sure to comply with all the regulations required so that your extinguishing system is the most efficient and adjusted to your requirements.
